The performance action, in collaboration with Simon Troger, takes place in Piazza Libertà in Acate (RG) between the church of San Nicolò di Bari and the Castle of the Princes of Biscari. The operation is an interweaving of Sicilian and South Tyrolean traditions: the "Vampanigghia ri Santa Lucia" and the "Larmstangen" of Vinschgau-Val Venosta. It consists of setting fire to a surface of straw, which burning reveals an encrypted message. The remains uncover a meaning to be decoded according to the point of view from which it is observed.
